1. About these terms
This website is operated by SCOT-HEAT PLUMBING & HEATING LIMITED("Scotheat", "we", "us"), company number SC294901, registered office 12 Toftcombs Avenue, Stonehouse, Larkhall, Lanarkshire, ML9 3QY, United Kingdom. These Terms of Service apply to your access to and use of scotheat.shop and to all orders.
2. What we sell
Scotheat sells physical consumer retail goods for organising tabletop games and jigsaw puzzles — trays, rails, mats, bowls, timers, labels, coasters and storage. We do not sell gambling products, prizes, wagering, lotteries, real-money games, or any licensed or copyrighted game content. Our score pads and timers are for casual record-keeping and timing only and must not be used for betting.
3. Orders & acceptance
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send an order confirmation.
- We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, a price is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud — and will refund any payment taken.
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery details.
4. Pricing & payment
- All prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where stated; import duties may apply (see Shipping Policy).
- We take payment through third-party processors such as Stripe and PayPal. By paying you also agree to the processor's terms.
- We make reasonable efforts to keep prices and product details accurate, but errors may occur; if we discover an error we will let you know before dispatch.
5. Shipping, returns & refunds
Delivery is covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy and your cancellation, return and refund rights are set out in our Refund & Return Policy. Both form part of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, photography, logos and design — belongs to Scotheat or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
9. Product use & safety
Some products contain small parts or magnets. Please follow the care-and-safety notes on each product page and keep such items away from young children and anyone for whom magnets pose a medical risk.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
